Day 1

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha before heading towards Lake Manyara National Park.

Enter the park and begin a full-day game drive through its diverse landscapes, from lush groundwater forests to open grasslands and the shores of Lake Manyara. The park is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, monkeys and a remarkable variety of birdlife. With luck, you may also encounter Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions resting in the branches.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your exploration through the afternoon. Later, leave the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, journey towards the Ndutu area in the Southern Serengeti, travelling through the spectacular landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

During the calving season, the Ndutu plains become a major gathering area for wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. Thousands of newborn calves attract predators, creating exceptional opportunities to witness lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other wildlife in action.

Enjoy a game drive as you enter the Ndutu region, followed by a picnic lunch in the wilderness. Continue exploring through the afternoon before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Ndutu Game Drive - Karatu

Rise early for a full day of wildlife exploration in Ndutu. The morning offers excellent opportunities to experience the migration at its most active, with large herds spread across the short-grass plains and newborn calves moving alongside their mothers.

Explore the seasonal lakes, open plains and surrounding woodland while searching for predators that follow the herds. Lions, cheetahs and hyenas are among the highlights, while the wider area also supports a variety of resident wildlife and bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing the game drive through the afternoon. Later, leave Ndutu and travel back towards Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

After breakfast, head towards the Ngorongoro Crater for one of the most spectacular wildlife experiences of the safari.

Descend into the crater and explore its remarkable floor, where grasslands, woodland, wetlands and a permanent water supply support a remarkable concentration of wildlife. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the crater before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobabs and beautiful savannah landscapes.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, following the Tarangire River and exploring areas where wildlife gathers. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions and other species as you explore this distinctive ecosystem.

After a picnic lunch, continue with your final game drive before leaving Tarangire. Proceed to Arusha, where you will arrive later in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.
