Program of the day:

Upon your arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro (JRO) Airport, our tour guide will warmly welcome you with a packed lunch. We will then drive to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Look out for large herds of elephants and the iconic baobab trees that shape the landscape. After the game drive, we’ll transfer you to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire is renowned for its dense elephant populations and majestic baobab trees. While exploring the park, you may also see a variety of wildlife, including zebras, impalas, lions, cheetahs, and leopards, thriving in their natural habitat.

Program of the day:

After breakfast, we’ll set off for Central Serengeti, starting with registration at Naabi Hill Gate. Once inside the park, you’ll explore the incredible landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Serengeti, with chances to spot the Big Five and many other species. The day will end with a memorable sunset game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera region, is the heart of Serengeti National Park. It’s rich in wildlife, including lions, leopards, and elephants, and is famous for frequent predator sightings. This area also plays a crucial role in the great migration, when millions of wildebeests and zebras traverse the plains each year.

After breakfast, your Wilderness Insights Safaris professional guide will lead you on a rewarding morning game drive across the central Serengeti plains with packed lunch boxes.

After tracking the abundant savanna wildlife, you will depart the park and enjoy a scenic afternoon drive toward the lush highlands, arriving at your comfortable accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

​This transition day offers a final opportunity to spot the Serengeti's big cats and grazing herds as they navigate the open grasslands. As you leave the park boundaries, you will experience changing landscapes ranging from endless golden plains to the vibrant, green agricultural hillsides surrounding Karatu village.

After an early breakfast, your Wilderness Insights Safaris professional guide will drive you to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an immersive morning game drive with packed lunch boxes.
Upon ascending from the caldera floor, you will be transferred directly back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure.

The legendary Ngorongoro Crater offers an unparalleled wildlife viewing experience within its massive, protective volcanic walls. During your exploration, you will have an excellent opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino alongside thriving herds of wildebeests, zebras, and lions before concluding your classic 4-day safari adventure.
