Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Ellion Tours safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and set off for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-and-a-half-hour drive along well-maintained tarmac roads. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which serves as the lifeline for wildlife during the dry season.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds gathering along the riverbanks, offering incredible opportunities to observe these gentle giants up close. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, while predators like lions and leopards often roam nearby. This morning, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park—your final stop on this incredible safari journey! Although compact in size, Lake Manyara packs a remarkable diversity of landscapes and wildlife.
