This morning, begin your journey by heading to Dar es Salaam Airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Immerse yourself in the abundant wildlife set against stunning landscapes. You’ll spend the night at fig tree Lodge.
Tarangire National Park covers nearly 3,000 square kilometers and is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Named after the Tarangire River that winds through its terrain, the park is especially captivating during the dry season (June to November) when wildlife congregates in great numbers, rivaling even the Serengeti. The Tarangire River is a vital water source, drawing impressive populations of elephants and diverse wildlife. With its rich habitats and year-round water supply, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and more than 500 bird species.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive experience. Later, return to Karatu for a comfortable overnight stay at fig tree lodge & camp

Often celebrated as the eighth natural wonder of the world, Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic crater on earth. Formed around 2 million years ago by the collapse of the Ngorongoro volcano, its steep walls rise up to 600 meters, enclosing a vast 19-kilometer-wide basin.
This unique landscape features sprawling acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and expansive grasslands. Within this diverse ecosystem, more than 30,000 animals thrive, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, a rich variety of bird species, the elusive black rhinoceros, and all the major predators.

Lake Manyara

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up for an exciting journey to Lake Manyara National Park, where a thrilling game drive awaits. Later, you’ll return to Arusha and continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. Breakfast, lunch, and daily bottled water are included.
Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and large troops of baboons, is a true hidden gem. Though relatively small in size, the park boasts an impressive diversity of birds and wildlife.
