Your adventure begins with a warm welcome from our Naleyo Tours and Travels guide at Kigali International Airport or your hotel.
You'll enjoy a scenic 2-5-hour drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park. By midday, you will arrive at your lodge, a peaceful haven on the volcanic slopes.
You'll spend the afternoon unwinding and soaking in views of the Virunga Mountains as you prepare for tomorrow’s golden monkey trek.
If possible, you will be given a city tour which will take you to memorial sites like the Genocide memorial, mingling with the local people, among others.

Day 2
Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You'll start your day with an early breakfast as mist shrouds the volcanoes.
You will head to Volcanoes National Park for a briefing. Then, you'll begin a 2–4 hour golden monkey trek through bamboo forests.
Watch these rare primates playfully leap through the trees, their golden fur shimmering in the light. You'll spend one magical hour observing them before returning to the lodge.
The afternoon is at leisure—perfect for:

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing for Uganda.
You'll drive toward the Cyanika border, with scenic countryside views along the way.
After immigration formalities, you'll continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Rushaga Sector.
You will arrive at your lodge by early afternoon.
You'll spend the rest of the day resting and preparing for tomorrow’s highlight: gorilla trekking, or you can go out for an optional cultural experience.

Day 4

This is the day you’ve been waiting for.
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
You will be assigned a gorilla family based on fitness level.
Trekking can take 2–6 hours through dense rainforest.
Once found, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour with the gorillas—watching them feed, interact, and rest in their natural habitat.
After the trek, you'll return to the lodge for lunch
You'll spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying forest views.

Day 5
Transfer to Kigali
Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you'll begin your return journey to Rwanda, crossing back through the Cyanika border.
You will enjoy scenic drives through the hills as you head to Kigali.
Depending on your departure time, you may stop for lunch or souvenirs before being dropped off at:
