Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport after breakfast. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and large elephant herds. The park’s permanent river draws in a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and countless bird species.
After a full day of wildlife viewing with a picnic lunch inside the park, continue to Karatu, a picturesque highland town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
