Delta Awakening

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome and transfer from Maun to the Okavango Delta’s edge. After a brief safety and orientation session, you’ll embark on your first mokoro journey, gliding quietly through the maze of channels lined with papyrus reeds and lush vegetation. As you float along the tranquil waterways, keep your eyes peeled for signs of wildlife.

Mid-morning, you’ll pause for a refreshing riverside picnic, where you can relax and soak in the sights and sounds of the delta’s unique ecosystem.

The afternoon is reserved for an exhilarating game drive through diverse habitats nearby. Depending on your luck your guide will help spot and interpret the behaviors of the delta’s abundant wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, antelope, and possibly elusive predators.

Later, embark on a game drive exploring different terrain and ecosystems, seeking out species you may not have encountered yet from graceful impala to powerful buffalo herds.
