3-Day En-Suite Tlou Tented Safari Camp in Pilanesberg

Arrival and First Safari Drive

Your day begins at dawn with a 5:30–6:30am pickup from Johannesburg. Settle into an air-conditioned vehicle for the drive, with a quick comfort stop en route, before arriving at the reserve by mid-morning. At 9:00am, you head straight into a three-hour game drive, where expert guides lead you in search of the Big Five and other iconic wildlife.

By midday, you will arrive at Tlou Tented Camp. After check-in, unwind with a dip in the pool or retreat to your tent for a peaceful rest. Later, at 4:00pm, climb aboard an open safari vehicle for a golden-hour adventure. The bush comes alive as the sun dips low, offering unforgettable sightings and photo opportunities. As evening falls, gather around the boma for a traditional dinner under a canopy of stars. Dinner is included.

Drive, Dine and Unwind

The day begins with another epic three-hour game drive in the early morning, when wildlife is most active. You will be back at camp by 9:00am for a hearty breakfast.

The rest of the morning is yours to enjoy as you please. Take a refreshing swim, stretch your legs on a gentle walk, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere of the bush. By midday, the pace slows even further, giving you time to rest at the camp or explore the surrounding landscape.

At 4:00pm, the adventure starts again with a second sunset safari. The changing light brings new perspectives and new stories as the bush comes alive in golden hues. When you return, a campfire dinner awaits — think braai favorites, bobotie, hearty stews and more — served under the open African sky. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Farewell to the Wild

The day begins around 6:00am with your final three-hour sunrise game drive — one last chance to seek out the wild legends of Pilanesberg. You will return to camp around 9:00am for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is unhurried. Cool off in the pool, relax on your deck, or simply savor these final moments of your safari. By midday, it is time to reflect on your journey and say a quiet farewell to the bush.

At 2:00pm, you depart camp in Safarilink's transfer vehicle, with a comfort stop along the way. Expect to arrive back in Johannesburg between 4:30pm and 5:30pm. If you require an airport drop-off, please provide your flight details in advance to ensure arrival by 6:00pm. Breakfast is included.
