Arrival & First Safari

5:30 – 6:30: Pick-up from Johannesburg in an air-conditioned ride with a quick comfort stop.

9:00: Morning game drive (3 hours) and Big Five sightings with expert guides.

12:00: Arrive at Tlou Camp and check in. Chill by the pool or nap in your tent.

16:00 – 19:00: Sunset safari during the golden hour for serious sightings. Dinner in the boma under the stars.

18:00 – 19:00: Sunset safari round two. New light, new stories. When you’re back, a campfire dinner awaits (braai, bobotie, hearty stews and more).

Early morning: Another 3-hour sunrise game drive, and trust us, it never gets old. Track wildlife with expert guides and return by 9:00 for breakfast.

Morning to midday: Choose your own pace; join an optional closed-vehicle game drive (included, subject to availability), or relax at camp, think poolside lounging, bush views, or even a cultural walk through Bagatla tribal lands.

12:00: Relax and enjoy some downtime. Capture photos, write that postcard, or nap like a lion.

16:00 – 19:00: Final sunset safari of the trip. End the evening with another campfire dinner and a toast to the trip so far.

Farewell to the Wild

Early morning (around 6:00): Your final sunrise game drive for one last chance to spot the wild legends of Pilanesberg. Return around 9:00 for breakfast.

Morning: Cool down in the pool, relax on your deck, or soak in your final safari moments.

12:00: Take in the last moments and try not to get emotional.

14:00: Depart camp in Safarilink SA’s transfer vehicle with a comfort stop en route. Arrive back in Johannesburg between 16:30 and 17:30. Need an airport drop-off? Please ensure you provide your flight details in advance to ensure arrival by 18:00.
