Upon your arrival, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. If time allows, you’ll have the option to take a short detour through Arusha City for a bit of sightseeing and a chance to prepare for your safari adventure the following day. Later in the evening, you’ll receive a briefing about your upcoming tour, with the optional opportunity to visit Kilima Moto for a light hike and a stunning sunset view a perfect way to begin your Tanzanian journey.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up at 7:30 AM, and after a brief introduction to your guide, you'll begin the scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes and rich wildlife. Tarangire is especially famous for its towering ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds, offering remarkable opportunities to observe these gentle giants interacting within their natural habitat.

Your game drive will follow the latest wildlife sightings, allowing the best chances to spot animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Around midday, you'll stop at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you’ll enjoy lunch with a beautiful view overlooking the river and surrounding wildlife. After lunch, your game drive continues through the park until approximately 4:30 PM, when you’ll exit and head to your evening accommodation at Africa Safari Lake Manyara, where you’ll have time to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

After breakfast, you'll have some time to relax at the lodge and enjoy the sights of wildlife nearby, as the lodge is often visited by animals in the surrounding area. Later in the morning, you’ll head out to explore the region around Lake Manyara, beginning with visits to local farms, including banana and rice plantations. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with local tribes, gaining insight into their culture, traditions, and crafts.

After breakfast, you'll depart for the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the crater, a vast and beautiful caldera teeming with wildlife. You’ll begin your early morning game drive, taking advantage of the cooler hours when animals are most active and easier to spot. The game drive will continue into the afternoon, offering excellent opportunities to see the Big Five and a wide variety of other species in this unique, enclosed ecosystem. Later in the day, you’ll make your way to Farm of Dreams Lodge, where you’ll relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings after an unforgettable day in the crater.

If you choose a full-day safari, this will be the perfect opportunity to venture deeper into the Serengeti, exploring more remote and less-traveled areas of the park, where you can fully immerse yourself in the untouched wilderness. Later in the evening, you’ll return to the lodge to unwind and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.
