Your first full day in the Serengeti begins with an early morning game drive, when predators are active and the rising sun casts golden light across the plains. Your third day in the Serengeti provides more opportunities to explore deeper into the park’s remote areas. Depending on the season, your guide might take you toward regions where the Great Migration herds are located or to areas known for predator activity such as Moru Kopjes or the Retima Hippo Pool.

The morning light helps highlight wildlife behaviors hyenas returning to dens, lions moving across kopjes, or vast herds of wildebeest grazing peacefully. The day’s exploration changes naturally based on your interests photography, predator tracking, or bird watching.

Your final safari day begins with a morning departure from Friends Camp, offering last glimpses of Serengeti wildlife on the way out often surprising encounters with lions, elephants, or zebras crossing the road. The journey leads you into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where cooler highland air and lush vegetation welcome you.

Upon reaching the crater’s rim, you enjoy a magnificent view before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa. Inside the crater, you encounter an impressive array of species, including the rare black rhino, large tusker elephants, lions, hippos, and abundant herbivores grazing its fertile floor.
