Arusha - Lake Manyara - Karatu

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, our driver-guide will be waiting at the arrival gate, holding a banner with your names. After the meet and greet, your driver will escort you to the vehicle and load your luggage accordingly. You will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. The game drive will continue until evening with a break for a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Karatu - Ngorongoro - Lake Burunge

After breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, accompanied by a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq km with a depth of over 2,000 feet. The 5- to 6-hour game drive on the crater floor will reveal a wealth of animal activity. Keeping the camera ready is recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascent to the top exit of the crater. Overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge.

Lake Burunge - Tarangire - Arusha

Early after breakfast, you will depart with a packed lunch for a morning game drive in Tarangire for a game viewing in Tarangire. Tarangire is one of Tanzania's largest national parks and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. Packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. After the game, the driver will exit the park and transfer you to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport to take your flight back home or to Zanzibar.
