Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Morning depart from Arusha to Tarangire for a game drive with a picnic lunch, the park herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless riverbed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decreased lagoons. This national park holds migrants during the dry season and is a welcoming home to elephants. Dinner and overnight stay at Flamingo Safari Lodge (Meal Plan : HB).

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Early morning after breakfast we drive to Serengeti for a full day game drive, Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see, on this day we head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species, get your lunch inside the park and continue with the game drive till evening we drive to the camp. Dinner and an overnight stay at Into Wild Tented Camp (Meal Plan : FB).

After breakfast, descend into the crater, enjoy an incredible game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, you will have a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Later we drive to Karatu for your overnight stay at Flamingo Safari Lodge (Meal Plan : FB).

After a breakfast we depart to Lake Eyasi to visit Hadzabe people and Datoga community, a cultural tour, get involved to learn their total way of their life. Lake Eyasi is a soda lake at the southwestern end of the Ngorongoro Conservative Area. It is about 1 hour drive from Karatu town or about 4 hours from Arusha. We all have read about the hunter-gatherers in our history books. But what if you could meet one today? The region near Lake Eyasi is home to one such tribe. The Hadzabes - the last hunter gatherer community of East Africa. You can gain an insight into how our ancestors used to live before the advent of agriculture and so much more. If you are interested or if the time permits, you can also meet the semi-nomadic Datoga tribe that lives nearby. The region is also famous for the variety of birds, visiting Lake Eyasi will definitely be quite a different experience from the safari experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Flamingo Safari Lodge (FB).

After a breakfast, you will depart from Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park for a day trip visit. Unlike other parks, Lake Manyara is smaller but more diverse. It’s much greener, with lush forests and a vast lake that shares its name. In fact, the lake covers most of the park. The park is famous for its hippo pool, where many hippos spend their days, and for its diverse landscapes. Not to mention the thousands of flamingos that migrate here each year, after a game drive have your lunch and depart back to Arusha, that makes an end of our trip. Meal Plan (HB).
