Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will transfer by road for 2-3 hours to Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive will take you through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, providing glimpses of local life along the way. Tarangire is known for its stunning baobab trees and large elephant herds. Upon arrival at Tarangire, you'll embark on an exciting game drive to explore the park's diverse habitats and wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you search for lions, leopards, giraffes, and more amidst the savannah and acacia woodlands. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park's natural beauty before continuing your safari adventure. In the afternoon, you'll have more opportunities to spot wildlife as you traverse Tarangire's expansive plains and head to your accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest, reflecting on the day's adventures. The lodge is surrounded by a lot of wildlife and stunning views of Lake Burunge.

Day 3

Tarangire to Serengeti

Tarangire to Serengeti

After breakfast, start your drive to Central Serengeti and arrive in the afternoon, a beautiful area full of animals all year round. The Seronera River flows through this region, bringing many animals to drink and hunt.
You’ll see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and many types of antelopes. This area is also famous for big cats. Look out for lions resting on rocks, leopards in trees, and cheetahs on the open plains.
During lunch hours, you'll enjoy a hot hamper lunch served inside the park, surrounded by nature and wildlife. After lunch, you will continue your game drive to explore more of the plains.
You'll head to your comfortable camp or lodge in the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner, and relax under the stars.

Day 4

Serengeti to Karatu

After breakfast, you will continue the game drive through the Serengeti National Park. You will see hundreds of wildebeests and zebras and often lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs in the Seronera Valley. After lunch at a picnic site, you will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro highlands heading to your lodge. As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater, the caldera opens up before you. You will have a remarkable view of this impressive natural wonder. You will have a lodge for the night and enjoy the fantastic view as the sun goes down.

Day 5

After breakfast, you will begin the day with a morning game drive in the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, tracing the Big Five wild animals. The crater's unique ecosystem offers excellent opportunities to spot various wildlife, including rare and endangered rhinos and leopards. Along the way, you might spot wildlife like zebras, giraffes, and even elephants grazing near the road. The changing scenery leads you toward the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning views and rich wildlife.

Arriving at the Ngorongoro Crater, prepare to be amazed by this giant volcanic caldera, a natural wonder that shelters thousands of animals, including lions, rhinos, buffalo, hippos, and flamingos in its crater lake. The drive itself is part of the adventure, blending wildlife sightings with incredible landscapes. In the late afternoon, you'll return to Arusha for hotel drop-off or airport transfer.
