Embarking on the journey from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park is a scenic adventure through Uganda's diverse landscapes. As you travel, a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a conservation haven for the majestic rhinoceros.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, situated en route, offers tourists a unique opportunity to witness the endangered Southern White Rhinos in their natural habitat. Guides share insightful information about rhino behavior, conservation efforts, and the significance of preserving these magnificent creatures.
You will have lunch break at Ziwa restaurant then continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The anticipation builds as you approach the park, known for its breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and the powerful Murchison Falls where the Nile River surges through a narrow gorge.

Day 3

You shall have an early mouthwatering breakfast at the lodge and then set out for a morning game drive which takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on the trails used. From this activity, you expect to encounter a variety of beautiful wildlife species in their natural habitats such as prides of lions, heard of buffaloes, elephants, leopards, Giraffes, Kobs among other species.
After lunch, embark on an extra game drive with the beautiful sunset. At this point, nature may give us variety of cats because it’s the hunting time. After game drive, head back to the lodge for relaxation, have lunch and prepare for afternoon boat trip to the bottom of the falls. The boat trip with take 3 hours and expect to see a lot of water birds and animals like elephants and hippos.

Day 4

Starting from Murchison Falls National Park, embark on a picturesque journey to Kibale National Park with a delightful stopover in Fort Portal for lunch. Fort Portal, nestled in the Rwenzori Mountains, offers a charming setting for a midday break.
After a satisfying meal, continue your adventure towards Kibale National Park, known for its diverse primate population, especially the chimpanzees. En route, take in the scenic landscapes that characterize this region, with lush greenery and rolling hills.
Upon reaching Kibale in the evening, immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-run Eco-tourism site is a haven for nature enthusiasts. The wetland is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including primates, birds, and butterflies.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park offices for briefing and then set out for chimpanzee trekking through the dense forest with armed ranger guide looking for chimpanzee, after finding them you will have one hour with them. Besides chimpanzee, other primates like baboons, monkeys can also be spotted. After trekking, you will transfer from Kibale national park to queen Elizabeth for evening game drive en-route you will have lunch in kasese town.

After an early morning breakfast, transfer from Queen Elizabeth national park to Bwindi passing through the Ishasha sector popular for the tree climbing lions. You will enjoy your lunch en-route at Kihihi. Continue with your drive to Bwindi and check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking and visiting Batwa community
Gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park offers a captivating wildlife experience in southwestern Uganda. As one of the few parks where you can encounter the endangered mountain gorillas, Bwindi provides a unique adventure.
Wear appropriate clothing, including sturdy hiking boots, long trousers, and a long-sleeved shirt to protect against stinging nettles.
Gorilla tracking groups are limited to a small number of visitors to minimize disturbance to the gorillas.
Each group is led by an experienced guide and trackers who know the gorillas' habits and movements.
Embark on a trek through the lush, dense forest, accompanied by guides who share insights into the park's flora and fauna.
The duration of the trek can vary, ranging from a few hours to a full day, depending on the location of the gorilla group.
Once the gorilla group is located, visitors are allowed a maximum of one hour to observe and photograph the gorillas in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, you will embark on the 4 to 5hours road drive to lake Mbulo national park, known for being the smallest but rich with wildlife. You will have stopover for lunch in Mbarara town. The road trip will take you stunning sceneries, farms, markets and plantations. Upon reaching at the lodge, you will check in and latter go for the evening game drive that will last 2 to 3 hours. Expect to see animals like zebras, Topis, Giraffes and lot of bird spices. Latter retire to the lodge for dinner and over night stay.
