Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Today after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. After meeting your driver, you'll travel to Tarangire National Park. The park is about a 2-hour drive away, and you’ll be on your first safari adventure! On this special tour, you'll have the opportunity to see numerous elephants, various lion prides, and much more. Lunch will be provided, and the safari will continue afterward. In the evening, you'll be transferred to a budget lodge in karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will check-out of the lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend down a steep track into the caldera to enjoy your last game drive. You will experience a breathtaking range of animals and birds. The caldera (a collapsed volcano) is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) to over 500 species of birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater and then make your way back up the crater rim in the afternoon. You will then drive back Arusha. Accommodation Jevas Hotel.

Materuni Waterfalls

Materuni, home to the Chagga people, is an authentic village just 15 km from Moshi. Your English-speaking guide will pick you up and take you to the village, where you'll register and start a scenic 40-minute walk to the waterfalls. Along the way, you'll learn about Chagga culture, local plants, and village life. After visiting the falls, you'll enjoy a coffee tour where you’ll make your coffee. Afterwards, you'll return to Arusha or the airport.
