Stone town, visit Nungwi Turtle sanctuary and Beach fun

After breakfast at Smiles Beach hotel, begin your day at the Nungwi Turtle Sanctuary, where you will learn about marine conservation and see rescued turtles in their natural lagoon. Transfer to Stone Town for a guided tour through its colourful alleys, spice markets and historic landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the old fort and the former slave market with insight into Swahili, Arab and European heritage. After enjoying a traditional Swahili lunch, return to Nungwi for afternoon beach activities. Relax on the soft sands, take a swim in the turquoise waters, beach walks or try optional water sports.
