Day 1

In the early morning, you will travel to Tarangire National Park, entering the park by 10:00. Enjoy a full-day, unlimited game drive deep in the park and along the Tarangire River.

Tarangire is one of Tanzania's largest national parks and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. The majestic baobab trees are a notable feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. You will spend the night at Serian Tarangire Camp. Meals: Full board.

Day 2

Tarangire - Manyara

Tarangire - Manyara

Have an early breakfast at 06:30 in the lodge/camp. The morning game drive in Tarangire starts at 06:00. You will exit the park before 10:00 (24-hour duration entry ticket). After leaving the park, drive toward the lodge in Manyara. Upon arrival, check in, then explore the village and the area by car. You will spend the night at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Meals: Full board.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu

Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, described as one of Tanzania's hidden gems. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and its underground water forest, which supports many species, especially primates. Hot water springs are one of the rare geological features that give visitors to this area an opportunity to explore. The springs are 70 degrees Celsius, warm enough to boil an egg! For birdwatchers, the park is a paradise with more than 350 bird species identified. More than 2 million flamingos have been counted in the lake at the same time. An opportunity to walk on the canopy is also available, giving a bird's-eye view of the groundwater forest. Dinner and overnight are at Marera Valley Lodge. Meals: Full board.

Karatu - Lake Eyasi - Karatu

After breakfast, you will travel the short distance to Lake Eyasi for a cultural tribes tour with the Hadzabe and Datoga people. Enjoy walking to the lake and taking in the views. A hot spring will be another point of interest. In the late evening, you will return to the Marera Valley Lodge for your overnight stay. Meals: Full board.

Day 5

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will travel directly to Ngorongoro, arriving at the conservation area/crater by 09:00. This morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife lives within the crater walls, hence you can find game easily. Rhinos can be seen regularly, as well as prides of lions and other predators like cheetahs. Enjoy a full-day unlimited game drive until 05:00, including lunch by the hippo pond. You will spend the night at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Meals: Full board.

Day 6

Ngorongoro - Ndutu

Ngorongoro - Ndutu

After breakfast in the lodge, leave the Ngorongoro Crater before 09:00 am. This morning, you will travel to Lake Ndutu. Along the way, visit the Maasai village and stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum, home of ancient human civilization, and explore the Olduvai Gorge until 13:00. After a picnic lunch, continue the game drive around the Lake Ndutu area, which is the heart of migration between December and March, with enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra, and a natural habitat for many different cats. At 18:00, return for dinner and overnight at Enkutoto Migration Camp. Meals: Full board.
