Your Rwanda journey begins with a warm VIP welcome at Kigali International Airport, where fast-track assistance, visa handling, and luggage support ensure a seamless arrival.

You are introduced to your expert guide who will accompany you throughout the adventure. After settling into the Kigali Marriott Hotel, the afternoon is dedicated to exploring the city.

A visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial offers a powerful and moving insight into Rwanda’s history, followed by the chance to stroll through vibrant neighborhoods such as Nyamirambo, browse art galleries, fashion boutiques, and jewelry shops, or relax at the golf club. For wildlife enthusiasts, an optional visit to a sanctuary dedicated to protecting crowned cranes can also be arranged.

The following morning, the adventure continues with a scenic drive through Rwanda’s lush countryside towards Nyungwe National Park. Along the way, you travel through the Cultural Heritage Corridor, pausing to explore the King’s Palace, an elegant reconstruction of Rwanda’s royal past.

Lunch en route (Included) and proceed to Nyungwe, a vast, ancient rainforest covering over 1,000 square kilometers. This ecological treasure, dating back to the Ice Age, shelters thirteen primate species, rare birds, and an astonishing variety of flora.

In the afternoon, you set off on a guided hike leading to the thrilling 60-meter canopy walkway, suspended high above the treetops. Here, panoramic views of the emerald forest stretch endlessly, while the zipline adds a touch of adrenaline to the day.

Dinner and overnight follow at the charming Munazi Lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

Proceed with a scenic hike to one of the park’s most beautiful waterfalls, where the sound of cascading water blends with birdsong and rustling leaves. Here, a peaceful picnic lunch awaits, enjoyed in nature’s tranquility.

In the afternoon, you are introduced to Rwanda’s tea culture at Gisakura Tea Plantation. A guided tour through rolling hills of vibrant green introduces the delicate art of tea cultivation, from careful plucking to final processing. The visit concludes with a tasting session of freshly brewed teas, offering flavors as rich as the landscape itself.

As evening falls, you return to Munazi Lodge for a quiet night under the forest canopy.

Morning breakfast, wake up at sunrise and transfer to the park headquarters where briefing, porters and tea and coffee will be given before starting the adventure into the forest.

We offer complementary Local porters who can help with the guide to complete the gorilla tracking experience. Who will assist you with your daypack, and give you hand when the path is slippery, steep, or irregular.

Your guide will drive you to the starting point: Tracking can be between 90 minutes and the whole morning depending on what family group is assigned. You will spend one hour with the gorillas – sometimes moving around to stay with the gorillas or following them. The guide will ensure you are in the best spots to take the most beautiful pictures and experience the breath-taking experience properly.

If time allows, return to your lodge for your delicious lunch and leisure time. Transfer back to Kigali (2.5-3 hours’ drive) and drop off at the airport
