Just a few hours from Arusha, the park is known for its iconic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and dramatic seasonal landscapes. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, draws huge numbers of animals during the dry season from June to October, creating one of the greatest wildlife concentrations outside the Serengeti.
