Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and after clearing immigration, you will be met by your driver-guide. After introductions and a travel briefing, begin your journey to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have the option of morning and afternoon game drives with all meals provided at your lodge, or you may choose to depart with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. After breakfast, you’ll make your way across the plains to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Its vast rolling landscapes are home to countless plains game and the predators that follow them. Everything about this reserve is extraordinary. Spanning 1,510 square kilometres, it is home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. This alkaline lake is world-famous for its vast flamingo population, often forming a breath-taking deep-pink band around the shoreline. You will arrive in time for check-in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. After some time to relax, you'll head out for an afternoon game drive through the park, where you may encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and buffalos. After an early breakfast at your lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park, check out and depart for Aberdare National Park, a scenic 3–4 hour drive through Kenya’s stunning highlands, with rolling hills, tea farms, and rural villages along the way. Upon arrival at the park, proceed directly to The Ark Lodge, a unique tree lodge nestled in the forest and designed for exceptional wildlife viewing. After check-in and a hearty lunch at the lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive through the park’s misty forests and moorlands.
