professional guide will be there to warmly greet you. After a brief introduction, you'll be
transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for a comfortable overnight stay.
As you settle in, take some time to relax and shake off the travel fatigue. Your guide will
provide you with a short briefing about the exciting 9-day Untamed Uganda Safari ahead,
outlining key activities like gorilla tracking in Bwindi and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale.

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, you’ll embark on an exciting road trip to
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This scenic journey will take you through Uganda’s

villages, giving you a glimpse into the country’s rich cultural and natural beauty. By late afternoon or early evening, you
will arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The air is cool and fresh,
and the thick rainforest beckons in the distance, setting the perfect mood for your upcoming
gorilla trekking adventure. After checking in, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the lodge’s
peaceful ambiance, which often includes breathtaking views of the forested mountains.

You will also be assigned to one of the habituated gorilla families and a team of experienced guides and trackers.

The transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth
National Park is a scenic and thrilling journey, offering the chance to explore one of
Uganda’s most unique wildlife experiences. After an early breakfast at Bwindi, you begin the
drive towards Ishasha, passing through rolling hills, lush forests, and rural villages that give a glimpse into Uganda’s vibrant countryside.
Upon arriving in the Ishasha sector, which is renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions, you
will embark on a game drive in search of these majestic creatures lounging on the branches of
fig trees, a behavior not often seen elsewhere. The lions climb the trees to escape the heat and
insects on the ground, making for a truly unique sight as they perch on branches, sometimes
draped lazily over them, observing the plains below.
Aside from the lions, Ishasha is also home to a variety of wildlife. You may encounter herds.

Your day starts early, as you set off on a game drive across the open Savannah and woodland
of Ishasha. The early morning light casts a golden hue over the landscape, and this is the best
time to spot wildlife as many animals are most active before the heat of the day sets in. The
highlight of Ishasha is the opportunity to see the legendary tree-climbing lions. As you drive
through the plains, your guide will keep a sharp lookout for lions resting in the branches of
fig trees. Watching these majestic predators lounging high above the ground is a unique sight,
offering fantastic photographic opportunities.
As the day draws to a close, you return to your lodge for sun-downers, a classic safari tradition
of enjoying a drink while watching the sun set over the African plains. The golden sunset
paints the sky in vibrant colors, offering a magical end to your day in Ishasha. The peaceful
sounds of the wilderness begin to emerge as nocturnal animals wake up.

After a hearty breakfast at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the adventure
continues as you set off for the Kazinga Channel, one of the park’s most iconic wildlife
hotspots. The drive to the channel takes you through the park’s diverse landscapes, offering the chance to spot wildlife along the way, including elephants, buffalo, and various antelope
species grazing across the savannah. In the afternoon, you’ll board a comfortable boat for the Kazinga Channel cruise. The cruise
is a highlight of any visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering an up-close view of the
wildlife that congregates along the water's edge. As the boat sets off, you immediately begin
to see large pods of hippos lounging in the shallow waters, only their ears and eyes visible
above the surface. Their grunts and snorts fill the air, a constant reminder of their strong.

rainforest. The park is home to one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa,
including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys. The excitement builds as
you near the forest, knowing that Kibale is famous for its chimpanzee tracking opportunities. You will take a guided walk through the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, which is known
for its rich birdlife and primates.

a briefing about the tracking experience, including safety protocols and insights into
chimpanzee behavior. With anticipation building, you set off into the lush rain-forest, where
towering trees, thick undergrowth, and the calls of birds and primates surround you.
Kibale National Park is home to about 1,500 chimpanzees, along with other primate species. As you trek through the forest, your guide points out signs of chimpanzee activity, such as nests, broken branches, or feeding areas. The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending on the
location of the chimps, but the journey itself is part of the adventure, with opportunities to see
other wildlife and unique plants along the way.

The vibrant greenery of the tea estates offers a picturesque view, you might catch glimpses of local farmers harvesting tea leaves by hand. Proceed for your international transfer.
