Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire

You'll be picked up from arusha airport/kilimanjaro airport early in the morning and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Once game drives are done, we will transfer you to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. You may have the experience of seeing lions stalking their prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are done, you will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

On this day, you will leave after breakfast and head towards the Serengeti. After a 4-hour drive, you will arrive at the Serengeti. After lunch, you'll do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes.

The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers, thousands of predators are moving because of the drought in the northern hills to the southern plains. After the rains in mid-April, they go back via a detour through the western part. At the end of the afternoon, you'll arrive at the campsite in the middle of the Serengeti. Your tent will be prepared and in the evening the chef will cook a nice dinner for you.

Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti, one of the most celebrated wildlife reserves on Earth. With packed lunch in hand, you'll follow the migration paths and search for big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as countless wildebeest, gazelles, and elephants.

Depending on the season, you may visit different regions of the park to track the movement of the Great Migration. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged in advance for a breathtaking aerial view. After a rewarding day, return to camp for a hearty dinner and another night under canvas.

Begin the day with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, catching predators in action before the heat sets in. After a mid-morning brunch at camp, pack up and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The journey takes you across the plains and into the cooler highlands, with optional stops such as a Maasai village visit to experience local culture. You'll arrive at the crater rim by late afternoon, just in time to enjoy spectacular views before setting up camp at Simba A Campsite. Be prepared for a chilly night, as temperatures can drop significantly at this elevation.

Day 5

Ngoongoro crater to Arusha

Ngoongoro crater to Arusha

Wake up early to descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive inside this unique wildlife haven. The crater floor is home to a rich concentration of animals, including the rare black rhino, hippos, elephants, lions, and flocks of flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before beginning your ascent out of the crater.

In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening, where your unforgettable 5-day safari comes to an end.
