Embark on a six-hour drive to the Sipi Falls today. The landscape slowly changes from the city to a variety of rugged and abundant green vegetation as you approach Mount Elgon National Park. Once you arrive, you see the park's main attraction, the Sipi Falls; three waterfalls on the north-western slopes of the extinct volcano Mount Elgon. Each waterfall flows from a different altitude and together they make a very impressive sight!

It’s time to hike to the Sipi Falls. Nestled in the stunning Mount Elgon region, the falls comprise three captivating waterfalls of more than 70 meters, with the main waterfall (and definitely the most impressive one) and its thundering cascade plunging down a 100-metre cliff! The hike takes you through lush greenery, coffee plantations and picturesque landscapes offering panoramic views.
Compliment your waterfalls hike with a coffee-making tour. Spend a few hours with small-scale farmers near Mt. Elgon National Park. Through the coffee tour, you will learn how to dig, weed, and harvest organic coffee in an authentic farming environment. You will get involved and learn about the process from seedlings to cup. You can also take part in picking, pounding, roasting, grinding, and drinking coffee. The skills and knowledge needed by farmers will bring a new appreciation to your coffee drinking habits.

After seeing the beautiful dense and lavish green Sipi Falls in Mount Elgon National Park, you drive towards the more rocky Moroto district. It's a 6-hour journey, long enough for a break and a stretch of the legs along the way. The Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve is the perfect place for that, as it happens to have the most picturesque viewpoints. So why not stop here and enjoy your picnic lunch with an occasional elephant or giraffe passing by? It makes a long journey all the more adventurous and memorable!

Explore the Karamojong Culture
Visit the Karamojongo community to learn more about their rich cultural heritage. There is chance you will spend some time on their homestead, where you will learn the social structures, traditional games and the day-to-day activities like harvesting, dancing, cooking staple foods, beadwork, archery and traditional friendly wrestling.
You will get a taste of traditional pastoral life of the karimojongo later in the night in the kraal with the animals and the shephards. You will assist the nomads in bringing the cows to the kraal and sharing stories around the campfire in the bush.

Your day starts early in this amazing park, when animals are most active. Search for lions, elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, antelopes, and tropical birds. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls, where you will see animals along the riverbanks, as well as a wealth of birds.

Visit Top of Murchison Falls, Rhinos Tracking and drive to Entebbe
Visit Top of Murchison Falls, Rhinos Tracking and drive to Entebbe
Visit the top of the falls for magnificent views over the falls and the park. Continue to Ziwa rhino sanctuary. On arrival take a guided nature walk around the sanctuary and see the rhino up close, along with other animals and birds.
Drive to Entebbe for an overnight or departure.
