Arrival at JRO – Transfer to Central Serengeti for Game Drive

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide who will brief you on the safari. You will then transfer to the Central Serengeti, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon entering the park, begin your first game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards. In the evening, you will head to your lodge/tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the Serengeti.

Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the vast Central Serengeti plains. This region is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife year-round, making it one of the best places for spotting the Big Five as well as cheetahs, hippos, and a wide variety of bird species. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the Great Migration with wildebeest and zebras moving in spectacular numbers. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your game drive until late afternoon. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay in the Serengeti.

Serengeti to JRO – Departure

After breakfast, you will enjoy a final short morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti, capturing those last incredible memories of the wildlife and landscapes. You will then transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight, where your safari adventure comes to a close.
