Day 1

Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi via the Equator Line

Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi via the Equator Line

A Muzbag Safaris representative will pick you up in Entebbe or downtown Kampala and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive to Bwindi National Park will go through western Uganda's significant towns, including Masaka, Mbarara, Ntungamo, and Kabale. We shall stop for the Equator and lunch on our way. The drive will take about 8- 9 hrs. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the lodge and rest for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The presentation will cover the basics of what to expect during the trek. The national park guide will assign all visitors to the gorilla family to trek during the briefing session. Visitors from various countries are likely to be assigned to different trekking groups. The gorilla trek can take from a few to many hours. The trekking time depends on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. After the trek, you'll transfer to kabale for overnight stay.

Transfer to Kibale National Park via Queen Elizabeth NP for Kazinga Channel Boat Trip

On this day, you will drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kibale National Park via the northern Queen Elizabeth National Park area for the boat trip experience.
Kazinga Channel Boat Trip
On arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, join the Kazinga channel boat cruise for an afternoon of wildlife viewing. You will spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and bird species on the channel waters. After the Kazinga channel boat cruise, you will drive to Kibale National Park. The drive to Kibale will go through different crater lakes and will take 3 hours. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Kibale National game park.

Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale and Transfer to Entebbe

You will head to the Kibale Forest immediately after breakfast to experience the habituation of the chimpanzees. If you are lucky on the trek, you might encounter other species of monkeys in the Kibale Forest National Park. These include colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys. After the chimpanzee trekking experience, you'll transfer to Entebbe for dinner or an overnight stay or continue to your next destination.
