You’ll begin your adventure with a morning flight from Zanzibar directly into the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, your safari guide will welcome you and take you on your first game drive across the vast plains.

The Serengeti is often called the “Land of Lions”, boasting the largest lion population in Africa. It’s also one of the best places to spot leopards, usually resting gracefully in acacia trees. Herds of elephants wander the savannah, while mighty buffalos graze in groups. Alongside the Big Five, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide array of birdlife.

Dinner and overnight stay inside the Serengeti.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, giving you the best opportunity to explore its diverse habitats. From open grasslands to riverine forests, every corner holds the potential for thrilling sightings.

Expect to see prides of lions on the hunt, elusive leopards blending into the trees, and family groups of elephants gathered near water sources. The Serengeti is also rich with cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and antelope species. Watching the wildlife interactions unfold in their natural setting is an unforgettable experience.

Picnic lunch in the bush before continuing with afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Today you will drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in the world to spot the entire Big Five in one day.

Black Rhino: Ngorongoro is among the few places where you can still encounter this rare and endangered species.

Elephants: Look out for massive tuskers, iconic in this region.

Lions & Leopards: Known for bold daytime sightings, particularly lions hunting on the crater floor.

Buffalos: Commonly seen in large herds grazing across the open grasslands.

After your game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, where your unforgettable Big Five Safari adventure comes to an end.
