Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport at 1:00 PM, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional Wagatil Safaris driver guide. After a brief introduction and safari briefing, you will transfer by road to Uganda via the Cyanika border, enjoying scenic views of the rolling hills and local villages along the way. The drive continues to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to some of the world’s rarest mountain gorillas. On arrival, check in at Bweza Gorilla Lodge, where you can relax and unwind. An optional afternoon activity includes a cultural visit to the Batwa community, offering insight into the lives of the forest’s indigenous people.

Lake Bunyonyi to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and drive towards Kibale Forest National Park, known for its high diversity of primates. En route, enjoy the beautiful Ugandan countryside. Upon arrival, embark on a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you will observe birds, butterflies, and various primates in their natural habitats. In the evening, check in at Bweza Gorilla Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
