1-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari Experience

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your day begins at 6:00 AM with pickup from Arusha by your safari guide, followed by a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive through one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. A packed lunch and drinking water will be provided. Later in the afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha, marking the end of your adventure.

Often called the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. Formed over two million years ago, it spans more than 19 kilometers in width, with steep 600-meter walls enclosing a diverse range of habitats lush forests, grasslands, and swamps. The crater supports over 30,000 animals, including elephants, flamingos, black rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many birds. It’s also home to the Maasai people, who share the land with wildlife, grazing cattle alongside wildebeest and buffalo. A truly unforgettable day safari.
