After breakfast, depart Arusha and head towards a traditional Maasai village for a cultural experience where you’ll learn about their lifestyle, dances, and customs. Spend time engaging with the Maasai people, learning about their customs, traditional dances, housing, and way of life. This immersive experience offers a unique window into one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes. After the visit, back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Karibu Heritage House.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. After a 2.5 hour drive through beautiful landscapes we arrive at Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is located 120 km south of Arusha, and is a long and narrow park that covers 2850 km2 and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park is also coming from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we will go to Fig Lodge.

Day 3
Walking Tour around Mto wa Mbu
Walking Tour around Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, drive to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu for a guided cultural walking tour. This diverse village is offering a rich blend of cultures. Walk through local farms, banana plantations, bustling markets, and artisan workshops. You’ll get a chance to interact with locals, taste freshly prepared banana beer, and enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch prepared by a local family. After the tour, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Fig Lodge, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s cultural experiences.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
On this day we're going to do a game drive in the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater has a diameter of about 20 kilometers and a 600 -meter-high crater wall. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 larger mammals. In the center of the crater is a Salt Lake. This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world. It is a unique area where animals and humans as the authentic Maasai and Hadzabe live together. From the edge of the crater, you look out over the impressive crater and its wonderful inhabitants. In the afternoon we'll be heading back to Arusha or take you direct to the Airport.
