Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and head to one of Tanzania’s most special national parks. Tarangire National Park is renowned for its diverse landscapes, featuring nine distinct vegetation zones. The park is particularly famous for its ancient baobab trees, some of the largest on the continent, which tower over the wildlife around them.
The Tarangire River attracts an incredible variety of animals, including lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and elephants—the park has the highest concentration of elephants in the country, offering unique opportunities to observe their social interactions.
Lunch is served at a scenic picnic area with an observatory overlooking the river, where you may even witness a hunt while enjoying your meal. In the afternoon, the game drive continues before we transfer you to your accommodation for the night.

Covering 6,900 sq miles, the vast plains stretch to the horizon, creating a stunning sense of scale. The park is home to the Great Migration, with over two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and countless antelopes, including impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. It is one of the few places on the continent where you may spot the rare black rhino. The crater features a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a large concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains.
