1-Day Discover the Iconic Ngorongoro Crater

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:00 AM and driven to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full-day tour inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Your driver-guide will set up a table for a freshly prepared hot lunch, including soup, bread rolls, a main course, and fruit salad served alongside a glass of wine, as well as tea and coffee. After lunch, you’ll continue your game drive into the afternoon, exploring the diverse wildlife the crater has to offer. By late afternoon, you’ll begin the journey back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

During your visit, you’ll also explore Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake located in the crater’s southwestern corner. This area is a haven for birdlife, including large flocks of flamingos, as well as hippos and other water birds that thrive in the lake's unique ecosystem.
