You will be picked up early in the morning from Nairobi and drive northwards through the lush countryside towards Meru National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic and less-crowded parks. On arrival, you will check in at your camp and enjoy lunch before some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Meru, a wild and beautiful park made famous by the story of Elsa the lioness from Born Free. Look out for elephants, lions, hippos, buffalos, and the rare Grevy’s zebra. Return to your lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Meru National Park
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Meru National Park with a full-day game drive. The park is a paradise for wildlife lovers with its 13 rivers, rolling grasslands, and riverine forests. It is home to rhinos in a special sanctuary, large herds of elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and more than 400 species of birds. Carry a picnic lunch to enjoy in the wilderness before continuing with your exploration of the park. Later in the afternoon, return to your camp for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3
Meru – Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy breakfast, then depart Meru and drive towards the rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve, located in Kenya’s northern frontier. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Samburu is known for its unique wildlife, the “Samburu Special Five,” which includes the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk. You may also spot elephants along the Ewaso Nyiro River, as well as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, situated on the Laikipia plains near the foothills of Mount Kenya. Arrive for lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Ol Pejeta, which is renowned for its rhino sanctuary that is home to both black and white rhinos, including the world’s last two northern white rhinos. The conservancy also hosts the Big Five and is the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees in a dedicated sanctuary. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. En route, you may enjoy scenic views of Mount Kenya and the highland countryside. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari with wonderful memories of Meru, Samburu, and Ol Pejeta.
