Start your day with a relaxing train ride from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi, enjoying views of Tanzania’s countryside and local villages. On arrival, your Saga Expedition guide will meet you and take you to Mikumi National Park for a thrilling game drive. The park is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes. Your guide will drive you through the park, stopping at good spots to watch animals. You may see elephants walking together or lions resting under the trees. Mikumi is often called a smaller Serengeti because of its open plains full of wildlife. After the game drive, enjoy lunch inside the park, then continue exploring in the afternoon. In the evening, return to the train station for your trip back to Dar es Salaam, ending the day with wonderful memories of Mikumi.
