2-Day Mikumi NP with Bush Walk & Snake Park by Train

Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel or the ferry terminal in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the SGR station for your train journey to Morogoro, which takes about 1–2 hours. Upon arrival, our professional driver-guide will welcome you and give a short briefing about your safari.

After the briefing, you will drive to Mikumi National Park and begin a late morning game drive, where you may see animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and lions across the open plains. Around midday, you will stop for lunch and have some time to relax.

In the afternoon, continue with another game drive until evening, a great time to enjoy the beautiful sunset and spot more wildlife as animals become active.

Bush Walk, Snake Park & Return to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, enjoy a 3-hour bush walking safari with a guide, where you will learn about local plants, animal tracks, traditions, and birdlife. After the walk, visit the Snake Park to see different snake species found in Tanzania.

Later, drive to Morogoro town for lunch and a short rest before heading to the SGR station for your train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to your hotel, airport, or ferry terminal.
