Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known as the “Home of Elephants.” The park is dotted with majestic baobab trees and is home to large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a thrilling game drive while admiring Tarangire’s dramatic landscapes. Later in the evening, you will head to your nearby campsite or budget lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, embark on morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti is famous for its predator-prey interactions, so expect to witness lions on the hunt, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, or leopards resting in acacia trees. Your guide will track the best wildlife sightings to maximize your safari experience.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular full-day game drive inside this natural wonder. The crater floor is home to an abundance of wildlife, including rhinos, buffalo, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos at Lake Magadi. This is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day. In the evening, ascend from the crater and transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
