The adventure begins in the morning from your hotel in Arusha as you set out with fellow travelers in your safari vehicle, heading west through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Wake up to the unforgettable sounds of the wild lions roaring in the distance, birds calling, and the dawn chorus of the Serengeti.

After a hearty breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators at their most active before the heat of the day. Traverse the golden plains searching for elephants, buffalo, and perhaps elusive leopards lounging in tree branches. After several rewarding hours in the park, begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying en-route game drives that continue to surprise with sightings.

The road offers magnificent panoramas as the land rises towards the crater rim. Arrive at Simba Campsite, perched on the crater’s edge, by late afternoon. From here, the sweeping views into Ngorongoro Crater are awe-inspiring, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife below.

Start the day with an early descent into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Garden of Eden” for its concentrated wildlife and lush beauty.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers one of the best safari experiences in Africa, with almost guaranteed sightings of the Big Five. Lions prowl across the grasslands, while elephants with immense tusks wander gracefully. The crater floor is also home to wildebeest, zebra, hippos, flamingos, and, with luck, the critically endangered black rhino.

Your guide will navigate through various habitats lakes, swamps, and open plains maximizing your chances of diverse encounters. After an extended game drive and picnic lunch within the crater, begin your ascent to the rim and continue the return journey to Arusha.
