Start with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park. Enjoy views of rolling hills, plantations, and vibrant local life along the way, passing through villages and observing Rwandan community activities.
Upon arrival, receive a behind-the-scenes briefing from park rangers about the park’s history, conservation efforts, and the role of its boundary fence in wildlife protection.
Lunch & Check-in: Check in at Akagera Game lodge, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local flavors, and relax in the lodge’s serene setting with views over the park's wetlands and lakes.
Afternoon boat Tour: embark on an afternoon thrilling boat ride across the lake. This provides a unique opportunity to get up close to some of the park's water-loving animals. Expect to see hippos lounging in the water, crocodiles basking on the shores, and possibly even buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes coming to drink at the water's edge.

Morning Breakfast, Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, preparing you for an exciting adventure ahead.
Safari to the Northern Plains: Next, venture out on a safari to the northern part of the park with a local ranger. This full-day safari will take you through diverse landscapes, including rolling savannahs, grasslands, and scenic viewpoints. Along the way, you'll encounter a rich variety of wildlife such as buffaloes, elephants, elands, Topi, Masai giraffes, monkeys, civets, leopards, hyenas, serval cats, and lions. Your knowledgeable ranger will provide insights into the park's flora and fauna, enriching your experience with fascinating facts about the animals and their behaviors.
Picnic Lunch in the Park: Midday, take a break from your safari to enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by nature. This provides an opportunity to recharge while still being immersed in the wildlife-filled environment. Transfer to the lodge and check in.

Early Morning Wake-up: Start the day with a refreshing cup of coffee or tea, accompanied by some fresh fruits. Embark on an exciting early morning safari with a local ranger to spot wildlife in the park. The safari promises surprises as nature reveals its wonders. Expect to see a variety of wildlife, including buffalos, antelopes (such as elands and topis), Masai giraffes, monkeys, savannah birds, civets, leopards, hyenas, serval cats, and possibly lions
After the safari, enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Return to Kigali by road and spend the night at a comfortable hotel, giving you time to refresh and prepare for the next chapter of your journey.
Afternoon: Your guide and vehicle will be available for the day if you wish to explore Kigali based on your wishes, visit Rwandan Art gallery, fashion, jewelry, souvenir shops, visit golf club. If you like we can also visit a fantastic sanctuary with great birdlife and hear about the project: safe the crowned.

06:00 AM :After breakfast you will have a transfer to Nyungwe national park
Private road transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe. Along the way to Nyungwe Forest stop off in the Cultural Heritage Corridor of Rwanda and visit the King’s Palace and The Ethnographic Museum
Covering over 1000 square kilometres, Nyungwe is surely one of the world’s most beautiful and pristine mountain rainforests. It’s believed to be one of Africa’s oldest forests, staying green even through the Ice Age, which explains its diversity. Home to habituated chimpanzees and 12 other primates’ species (including a 400-strong troop of habituated Ruwenzori Black & White Colobus), it’s also a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 300 species, including 16 endemics, and is home to 75 different species of mammal.

Chimpanzee Trek
Wake up early to go chimpanzee tracking in the Nyungwe Forest. After a short briefing by your guide, walk through stunning tea plantations before entering the thick luscious forest. There are over 13 species of monkey found in the forest and excellent birding opportunities with over 100 species of butterflies and the occasional chameleon.
The excursion can last from one to four hours but you will definitely hear the chimpanzees from the moment you enter the forest. Once found you will stay for an hour with the chimpanzees, watching them play, fight and eat in the atmospheric forest.
Enjoy lunch at your Lodge - We offer complementary Local porters who can help with the guide to complete the chimps tracking experience. Who will assist you with your daypack, and give you hand when the path is slippery, steep, or irregular.

Learn about the vital role the campus plays in educating both tourists and local communities about gorilla conservation. The facility also serves as a training hub for the next generation of conservationists.

Experience the community walk which starts by the breath-taking view of the Volcanoes National Park proceeding with visiting local village homes, local food preparation (from lighting a fire until food is completely prepared), traditional music instruments playing: Zither playing (Inanga), music bow (umuduri), one stringed-fiddle, weaving experience, traditional dance and Intore, grinding sorghum using a grinding stone, if you like, you can stopover at Gasura kindergarten one of the projects that the tours fund in the way of giving back to the community. It is an amazing experience, as you will see how Rwandans live in their villages on daily basis.
The duration of the walk takes roughly 2 hours to 3 hours. Enjoy lunch at your lodge (included) and Transfer to Bwindi N.p (including border crossing) – Uganda We advise an East African VISA to have a smooth border crossing.

After enjoying an early breakfast, set off gorilla tracking. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment.
After a climb of between one and three hours the moment you find the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged one. You will spend one hour in the company of the majestic and gentle mountain gorillas before returning to the lodge in time for a late lunch.
o We will offer complementary porter per person who will assist you with your daypack, and give you hand when the path is slippery, steep or irregular. The porters are from the local community and registered by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, in this way we also support the local community.
Gorilla trekking requires stamina and can sometimes take a full day, especially if it is wet and muddy.
