Fly from Zanzibar - Drive to Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, board your local flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport (approx. 1 hr 30 min flight). Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your Ndoto Kubwa guide and briefed about your safari. After the briefing, you will drive directly to Central Serengeti, covering approximately 330 km (around 6–7 hrs drive). Enjoy the scenic journey through the Tanzanian landscape, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your special Serengeti camp in the afternoon, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight under the vast African sky.

Early in the morning, wake up in the heart of Central Serengeti and embark on morning game drives, exploring the park’s abundant wildlife and scenic plains. Return to your camp for a late breakfast before preparing packed lunch boxes for further afternoon game drives. Continue exploring Central Serengeti, covering approximately 50–80 km of safari driving (3–4 hrs total game drive time), with opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and herds of wildebeest and zebra. In the late evening, return to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight under the spectacular Serengeti skies.

Ngorongoro Crater Day Tour - Fly Back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast at your camp in Central Serengeti, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a drive of approximately 190 km (around 4–5 hrs), passing through scenic landscapes and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with chances for wildlife sightings en route. Upon arrival, descend into the crater floor for game drives and exploration, enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery. The crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, and flamingos along the lake shores. In the late afternoon, ascend the caldera and drive back to Arusha Airport, covering approximately 180 km (around 3–4 hrs drive), to catch your local flight back to Zanzibar.
