After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti with game viewing en route to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend 600 meters to the crater floor, often called the “Garden of Eden” for its dense concentration of wildlife. Spend the day exploring this unique ecosystem, where you can spot elephants, hippos, large prides of lions, spotted hyenas, and even the rare black rhino. Lake Magadi, at the center of the crater, attracts flamingos and other bird species, adding color to the spectacular scenery.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing with more wildlife viewing in this world-famous natural wonder. In the afternoon, ascend to the rim and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
