Arusha -West Kilimanjaro

This day we start our tour from your hotel/Lion HQ toward west side of mountain Kilimanjaro via Mererani we see the Tanzanite mining areas and also pass through Chemka hot spring for swimming and hot Lunch, we then ride toward West Kilimanjaro where we sleep at Simba Farm Lodge, here we came across with cold weather and nice farm food. The road is Mixed terrain and also some parts dusty/Mud depending on the sessions of the year and some off-road are difficult.

West kilimanjaro- Lake Natron

Start your day at Simba Farm Lodge and ride toward Enduement Hope Game Reserve, spotting giraffes, elephants, and impalas. Continue past the Longido Mountains to the town of Longido, then to Kitumbeine for a picnic under a large tree. The journey ends at Lake Natron, with stunning views of Mount Lengai (Mountain of God).
Expect mostly off-road trails, hot sunny weather, wildlife encounters, and glimpses of local culture — an unforgettable adventure
About Lake Natron:
A salt and alkaline lake in northern Ngorongoro District, Tanzania, Lake Natron is a Ramsar Site of international significance. It’s the only regular breeding ground for Africa’s lesser flamingos, set within the stunning Gregory Rift at the Kenya-Tanzania border.

Natron –Arusha

We start our day by exploring the stunning Lake Natron area by riding and walking around the lake and admire unique landscapes and birdlife also visit nearby Engaresero water falls for refreshing dip and Maasai Boma. We enjoy our scenic ride through the rugged terrain and Maasai villages we stop by taking some pictures with the beautiful Oldonyo Lengai Mountain (Mountain of God) and then Pass through hollow of God (Shimo La Mungu) we may then take lunch and proceed with our 5 hours riding to Arusha this will depend on the nature of the riders. On the way to Arusha, we also see some wild animals, landscapes Maasai villages etc. the riding will be mixed terrain were by 70% will be off-road and 30% asphalt.
