Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Equator Stop & Evening Game Drive

Your safari begins early in the morning after breakfast, when our professional guide meets you at your hotel. After a short briefing, you set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you stop at the famous Uganda Equator, where you can take memorable photos, shop for local crafts, and watch a fascinating demonstration showing how water flows differently on each side of the Earth’s hemispheres.
The drive continues through rolling hills, small towns, and beautiful green countryside before reaching the park. Later in the evening, you head out for your first game drive across the open savannah plains. This is the best time to catch sight of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and lions becoming more active as the sun sets. After the adventure, you proceed to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Return to Kampala

Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Return to Kampala

Wake up early for a rewarding morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the most wildlife-rich areas of Queen Elizabeth NP. With your bags already packed in the safari vehicle, you explore the plains while the animals are most active. This is a prime moment to see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and several antelope species in action.
After about four hours of exploring, you continue to the Kazinga Channel for a memorable boat cruise. The 32-kilometer natural waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George, and it offers one of the best opportunities to observe wildlife up close. Expect to see pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, countless water birds, and other animals gathering at the shoreline.
Once the boat safari ends, you begin the journey back to Kampala. You will stop for lunch on the way before finally being dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of this exciting 2-day adventure.
