Start your day with an early breakfast in the Seronera area of Central Serengeti, then begin your scenic drive toward the Ndutu region, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem and part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy a transfer game drive through changing landscapes—rolling plains, rocky outcrops, and acacia woodlands—while spotting wildlife like giraffes, elephants, lions, and various antelope species. Upon arrival in Ndutu, you’ll immediately notice the open short-grass plains, especially vibrant during the calving season (December to March). After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive in the Ndutu area, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather and predators like cheetahs and hyenas roam. As the sun sets, head to your camp or lodge for a relaxing evening, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Begin your day in Ndutu with an early morning game drive across the vast short-grass plains, alive with wildlife during the Great Migration’s calving season (December to March). As the sun rises, witness thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles grazing—and newborn calves taking their first steps. This abundance of life attracts predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, offering incredible chances to observe dramatic wildlife interactions. After a bush breakfast or return to camp for a meal, explore the diverse Ndutu ecosystem, including woodlands and the seasonal lakes Ndutu and Masek, home to flamingos and water birds. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon game drive, soaking in the golden light and panoramic views. As the day ends, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner, sharing stories under the star-filled sky while listening to the distant calls of nocturnal animals.

After breakfast at your camp or in the bush, begin your scenic journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through changing landscapes—from the flat, grassy plains of Ndutu to the highland forests and rolling hills surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, enjoy a transfer game drive with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, and colorful birdlife. Arrive at the crater rim by late afternoon and take in breathtaking views of the world’s largest intact caldera.
