Start your day with an early breakfast followed by a thrilling game drive across the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park hosts over 95 mammal species and more than 610 bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife lovers. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, lions, and elusive leopards.
In the afternoon, head to the southern section for a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and countless water birds thrive along the shores. Depending on time, you may add another game drive before returning to your accommodation.

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast, then proceed to the Bwindi briefing point. Rangers will introduce you to the gorilla trekking guidelines before assigning you to a group of eight. With a guide leading the way, venture deep into the rainforest to meet the endangered mountain gorillas. Spend one magical hour in their presence, observing their behaviors and family interactions.
You are encouraged to carry water, packed lunch, rain gear, and consider hiring a porter for assistance on steep trails. After the trek, transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest lakes. Here, you can swim, canoe to explore local villages, or watch the countless bird species around the islands.
