Day 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early and head to the park headquarters for a briefing before your gorilla trek. Led by expert rangers, you'll hike through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, spend up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat—an awe-inspiring and humbling experience. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and rest, or take an optional community visit to learn about local culture and conservation.

Scenic transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, depart Bwindi for a full-day drive through western Uganda’s terraced hills, banana plantations, and traditional villages. Stop for lunch en route before entering Lake Mburo National Park in the late afternoon. Known for its serene landscapes and close-up wildlife encounters, the park is home to zebras, impalas, giraffes, and hippos. Check in to your lodge and enjoy dinner with views of the surrounding savannah.

After breakfast, relax at the lodge or by the pool before heading out in the afternoon for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Transfer to Entebbe

Transfer to Entebbe

Then begin your transfer to Entebbe, passing through scenic countryside and stopping at the Equator for photos and local crafts. Arrive in Entebbe by late afternoon, in time for your evening departure or overnight stay.
