Arrival & Night Game Drive

In the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport to catch your evening flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and transfer you to Mufasa Tented Camp inside the park, where you will have some time to rest and enjoy an early dinner. At 6:00 pm, you will set out on an exciting night game drive that runs until 11:00 pm, offering a unique chance to spot nocturnal wildlife. After the drive, you will return to your camp for an overnight stay.

Full Day-Game Drive and Sunset Boat Safari

After breakfast at the camp, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, exploring its diverse wildlife and landscapes. You will pause in the afternoon to enjoy your meal in the heart of the park before continuing your adventure. Around 3:00 pm, you will exit the park and head to the Great Rufiji River, where at 4:00 pm you will begin a scenic sunset boat safari, offering a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife as the sun sets. After the safari, you will be returned to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to the airstrip and fly back to Zanzibar

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge before checking out. You will then be picked up by your driver and transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, a driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel or residence, marking the end of your safari adventure.
