Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch carried into the reserve. Search for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of plains game. The Mara’s endless savannah landscapes provide unforgettable photographic opportunities. During migration season (July–October), witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

A second full day in the Mara allows deeper exploration of different areas of the reserve. You may choose to do two extended game drives (morning and afternoon) with a break at your lodge, or another full-day excursion with picnic lunch. With three days in the Mara, you maximize your chances of spotting rare wildlife encounters and enjoying the park’s spectacular scenery. Optional activities such as a hot-air balloon safari (extra cost) can also be arranged. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, depart the Mara and travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park’s acacia woodlands, grasslands, and lakeshore. Nakuru is a sanctuary for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and a wide variety of birdlife, including flamingos when conditions allow. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
