Your driver-guide will pick you up in Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive to Nanyuki, set at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Check in at River Camp, a charming tented camp along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
In the afternoon, head into Ol Pejeta Conservancy for your first game drive. Ol Pejeta is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, and the endangered Grevy’s zebra.

Olpejeta to Samburu

After breakfast, drive north into Kenya’s rugged landscapes, arriving in Samburu National Reserve. This park is famous for its arid beauty and unique wildlife not found in southern parks — including the Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk (the antelope that feeds standing on two legs).
Check in at Soroi Samburu Lodge, perched along the Ewaso Nyiro River, and head out for your first Samburu game drive in the afternoon.

After breakfast, travel west to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flocks of flamingos (seasonal), endangered rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and lions.
Check in at The Cliff, a luxury tented lodge dramatically built on the edge of a 100-meter high cliff overlooking the lake. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore Nakuru’s stunning landscapes and wildlife.
