Begin your journey in Arusha with a scenic drive to Materuni Village, nestled on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro near Moshi. The trail continues through tropical forest to the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls, where crystal-clear water plunges over 80 meters into a refreshing natural pool.

Day 2

We will pick you up from your hotel. After meeting the guide, chef, and the other clients, you will drive to Tarangire National Park (2-hr drive), which is famous for its diverse landscape.
The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

You will do a game drive through the park, depending on where they have reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they are harder to spot). The herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras are plenty to see throughout the park.
After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive and exit the park in the late afternoon, when you will head to Furaha Luxury Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll be up early to proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest on the continent.
It is almost 20 km wide, approximately 610 m deep, and is known for its large variety of wildlife. In addition to the Big Five, the various springs attract animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, reedbuck, and more than 500 bird species. At a picnic site, you will have lunch before enjoying some more game viewing in the crater.

The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.
Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach your lodge in time for a beautiful sunset and time to relax.
