Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, Then Drive Direct to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu) for Game drive

At 5:30 am, our driver from Tanzania Timeless Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar, depending on your location, and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, you will begin your journey to the Southern Serengeti to embark on your exciting first game drive.

Witness the extraordinary Ndutu Calving Season, one of nature’s most spectacular events, occurring from late January to March. During this time, the plains of the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu become a cradle of life as over 400,000 wildebeest calves are born. This incredible event attracts a variety of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, providing a truly unparalleled wildlife viewing experience.

Full Magical Game drive in Southern Serengeti (Ndutu)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in the iconic Southern Serengeti, specifically the Ndutu region, renowned for its exceptional wildlife and stunning landscapes. From December to March, this area becomes the heart of the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles gathering for calving, attracting predators such as lions and cheetahs. The open plains provide outstanding opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

After an exhilarating day of safari, return to the camp for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at 6:40 am as your safari concludes. We will transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for an extensive game drive with a picnic lunch. The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest intact caldera in the world and home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and cheetahs, as well as diverse bird species such as flamingos and eagles.

After the game drive, transfer to Arusha Airport for your 5:00 PM flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at 6:00 PM, our driver will transfer you to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
